Fontana Hydraulic Repair

Hydraulics give every machine on your yard its strength — so the moment a cylinder starts to drift, a pump begins to whine or a drive motor quits, that machine is out of action until the hydraulics are sorted. At our Fontana shop, cylinders, pumps and motors are rebuilt in-house and the machining happens on site, which means scored rods, worn bores and damaged housings get put right here instead of being sent away.

Cylinders, pumps and motors — properly rebuilt, never just resealed

Fitting a seal kit may hold the oil in for a spell, but a rebuild deals with the reason it escaped in the first place. Every component comes apart; bores, rods and running surfaces get measured; metal is honed or re-chromed wherever it needs attention; seals and wear parts are renewed; and the finished unit is tested before it leaves. That is what separates a lasting repair from one that brings the machine straight back.

Our hydraulic work covers trucks, tractors and heavy equipment of every class, and it extends to the industrial plants across Fontana and the Inland Empire, where presses and plant systems work on exactly the same principles.

Questions customers ask us most

Should a hydraulic cylinder be rebuilt, or is replacement the better call?

Rebuilding usually comes in below the price of a new cylinder and brings the unit back to its original specification — that is especially true for big cylinders and machine-specific ones, where a new replacement can be costly and slow to source. We always inspect before quoting, and where it matters we will price both routes for you.

Why is my cylinder leaking again so soon after a reseal?

More often than not, the underlying cause was left untouched — a scored rod, a worn bore or a damaged gland will chew through a fresh set of seals in short order. A proper rebuild sorts the metal out rather than relying on the seal kit alone.

Do pumps and motors get repaired here as well?

They do — piston, vane and gear pumps sit alongside hydraulic motors and track drive motors on our benches, and everything is rebuilt and tested in-house.

How quickly can a hydraulic repair be turned around?

Turnaround hinges on what the inspection turns up. Rush cover runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year — just call (949) 400-2937.
