Falk Gearbox Repair in Fontana

All over the Inland Empire, Falk gear drives sit beneath conveyors, mixers, crushers and cooling towers — and the moment one stops, the line it feeds stops too. Falk industrial gearboxes are rebuilt in-house at our Fontana shop: the unit is completely torn down, every gear, bearing and shaft is measured, and for Falk parts that no shelf stocks anymore, the replacement gear is manufactured on site.

Falk gear drives, rebuilt on the benches here

Parallel-shaft, concentric and right-angle Falk drives come through here regularly. Each unit is opened up and its failure documented, then rebuilt to the clearances it was originally built with — bearings, seals, shafts and gearing renewed, and fresh gears cut wherever the originals are worn beyond saving or the model has been dropped. With the machine shop in the same building, no Falk rebuild ever sits waiting on an outside gear cutter.

Discontinued does not have to mean finished

Over the decades the Falk lines have changed owners and model ranges, so a good number of the drives still working in Southern California plants are officially obsolete. That is precisely where having a gear shop in-house pays off: the worn gear is measured, its original geometry is worked out, and a replacement is manufactured to drop straight into the existing housing — no fresh foundation, no re-piping, and no replacement drive picked out of a sales catalog. Regular hours are Monday–Friday 6 AM–5 PM; the rush line runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and quotes and pick-up are free.

Questions customers ask us

Can a Falk gearbox be rebuilt after it has been discontinued?

Yes. When Falk or its successors no longer supply the gearing, the original parts are measured and their replacements manufactured in our own shop, and the drive is rebuilt around them.

Will you collect and deliver a Falk gearbox?

Yes — collection and delivery cost nothing, and neither does the quote. Call (800) 821-3404 or (949) 400-2937 and you will speak directly with John Clark.
