Machining & manufacturing under our own roof

Gear Manufacturing & Repair

Precision machining and gear re-cutting held to OEM specifications or tighter — alongside reverse engineering and one-off manufacturing when a component is scarce or no longer produced.

Gear work & driveline expertise

Gear & Gearbox Repair

From industrial gearboxes to driveline assemblies, we rebuild what has failed, manufacture fresh gears and shafts, bring housings and bearing fits back to spec, and reverse engineer a part once no replacement can be bought.

What the shop can do in-house

Because engineering support and hands-on metalworking sit under a single roof, we keep tighter control of complicated rebuilds, one-off parts and repairs that cannot wait.

01

Engineering

Hands-on problem-solving covering how a repair should be approached, how components must fit and what a rebuild demands.

02

Welding

All welding is done on site, whether a part needs repair, reinforcement or a custom heavy-equipment build.

03

Grinding

Shafts, rollers and precision parts receive careful grinding and finishing as part of their rebuild.

04

Manufacturing

When a replacement part is hard to source, we machine and fabricate it ourselves.

How every repair moves through the shop: 8 steps

From your first phone call through final testing, here is how a job moves through the shop.

01

Collection

Where it applies, we arrange collection of your machine or component at no charge.

02

Inspection

We strip the unit down and assess the full extent of the failure.

03

Photo & video record

We photograph and film what we find, so the repair discussion is based on evidence.

04

Written quote

You receive a written price for the recommended scope before any work starts.

05

Approval

Together we agree the scope, the priority and the most sensible way ahead.

06

Manufacturing

Any parts the job needs are machined, welded, rebuilt or reverse engineered in-house.

07

Testing

Nothing leaves until operation and workmanship have both been checked.

08

Return delivery

The finished machine or component goes back to you ready for service.

Questions customers ask us

Which gears are you able to manufacture?

Gears and shafts, custom or replacement, for gearboxes, transmissions, differentials and equipment drives — including replacements reverse engineered after the original part was discontinued.

What should I provide so you can make a gear?

Ideally the failed gear itself or the parts it mates with, though precise housing measurements can serve instead. Drawings help if you have them, but they are not a requirement.

Will you make a single gear, or do you only take production runs?

Single pieces and small batches are central to what this shop does — in fact, they account for most of the gear manufacturing we carry out.

Can a manufactured gear be rushed?

Yes — when downtime is the emergency, expedited manufacturing is a standard offering here. Call (949) 400-2937.
